It wasn't until 2017 when Reese realized one of the oldest materials (wood) could be combined with modern technology to create a unique, lightweight, and amazingly comfortable piece of art to wear on your wrist. He got to work designing his first collection of wooden watches for men. This is when Joycoast was born. Not long after, he discovered other products he could create from wood, such as wooden sunglasses. To this day Reese only wears wooden accessories and has been raising awareness for wood as a sustainable alternative to traditional steel watches and harmful plastic sunglasses. Joycoast has advanced a lot over the years and now offers engraved wooden watches, which make extra special gifts.

I love these bad boys so much I bought a second pair. 1 rainbow and 1 gold. I get hella compliments almost daily. Then I grew a mustache and that only made everything better. Biggest feedback I get from peers is “this style fits you” which is a huge compliment honestly. I’d suggest buying these only if you feel hot in them, because half of working a style like these glasses is confidence and self love. I’m not saying I had a hot girl summer BECAUSE of these glasses, but they certainly added to the experience. I’ve also been hit in the face with a volleyball a few times and glasses still intact! Very durable.

I am a female and they are very flattering on my face, although they appear unisex. I love the clarity of the lenses, they seem very high quality. They have a very minor warmth to them which is nice. The glasses are feather light which is awesome for the hot summer. The natural wood sides are beautiful and the glasses are overall very high quality in appearance and function. Very happy with my purchase!
