At Joycoast, we think it's important to celebrate all victories, big or small.
On Thursday, May 7, 2020 we had the awesome experience of being featured on air.
103.5 KISS FM’s radio station with JRDN, to be exact! In an effort to support small businesses, Jordan recently started a segment for local Chicago companies that have been affected by the pandemic. We thought this was the perfect opportunity to get our name out there.
What a surreal experience - from talking about Joycoast in street fest booths to reaching countless more from the inside of their car. As a business owner, this was definitely what I'd call a victory. It didn't “break our website” with traffic, but it meant a lot to get the word out about Joycoast and our never ending mission to make the world a more sustainable place.
In just a few short minutes we were able to cover some of our most important focuses.
- Joycoast’s sustainability mission
- We plant 10 trees per watch or sunglasses sold (current promotion is 20 trees!)
- We are organizing global trash cleanups (We are literally paying people for each trash bag of litter they collect.)
Last but not least, Father's Day is quickly approaching and our engraved wooden watches are the perfect gift to show him how much you care!
